Loaves + Wishes

November 23, 2010

Morning!

IMG_2026edited

What to do when your sweet mother in law brings over four loaves of Great Harvest bread!?

IMG_2028edited

IMG_2030edited

Make French toast!

IMG_2032edited

Or more specifically, a Grilled Banana Sandwich! [See round I here!]

IMG_2037edited

Today’s was made with a big, fat slab of High Five Fiber, French toast-style, topped with 1/2 cup of heated canned pumpkin with cinnamon and cloves, half a grilled banana, TJ’s PB, coconut and a drizzle of maple.

IMG_2044edited

But you know what was missing? CRUNCH! Still fantastic and took me a really long time to eat.

This is Breakfast post – take II. I like the new version of Windows Live Writer a lot, but it has been freezing on me! And the auto-save did not work. Gruf.

Wishing you all a happy Tuesday!

We’ve signed our lease – so now we begin buying equipment and talking to contractors. Construction won’t begin until after the new year (due to major landlord renovations and current tenant move out)

I keep saying I need to try those grilled banana sandwiches. They always look so tasty on yours and Caitlin’s blogs.
So, I saw on Lexington’s Groupon today that they’re giving you 50% off of Chocomize’s chocolate bars! After seeing them on your blog, I may just need to try it out.

I bought some TJ’s PB yesterday, so creamy and smooth. It is way different than the fresh pressed peanut butter I normally buy, it will take some getting used to. I also found pumpkin butter, and pumpkin cream cheese! I had no idea pumpkin cream cheese even exhisted until Sunday morning when I had it at Einstein bagels. Imagine my surprise when I happened to stumble upon it at Trader Joes’s.
