This morning was spent on the couch watching License To Wed, which I actually thought was really cute! Probably because I love "Jim" and Robin Williams. The scene with the babies was HILARIOUS and the only scene that was too much (too stupid) was the driving blind one. Otherwise, good movie!!
Enjoyed with some fantastic oats:
- 1/3 cup oats, milk, water
- Vanilla + Cinnamon + 1 tbsp chia seeds
- ~1/3 cup cooked butternut squash leftovers, stirred in at end
- ~1/4 cup cottage cheese, stirred in at end
- Pumpkin butter jar scrapings
- ~1/4 crumbled Probar
- Maranatha AB blob
I forgot how good and seedy and chewy these are on oats!
SUCH a good bowl!!!!!!!!
Bowtie anyone!?

Any day that starts with Jim and ends with Christmas music is a pretty great day in my book.
I wanted to see that movie but I wondered if it was too silly! I might check it out now.
The oatmeal looks SO delicious!
I like that movie too! Jim is the best
I really liked that movie, too! I really like Mandy Moore and Jim.
I totallt forgot about that movie! I am a hige Jim fan, as well!
Love the festive emoticons this morning!
Have a great day
I’m clearly having typing issues today — time for another cup of coffee! You know what I meant
Aw, how cute! I love when coffee makes shapes like that. haha
And the oats look sooo satisfying!
That movie was horrid! John Krasinski must’ve needed the paycheck
The Pro Bars look yummy, but I can’t find them anywhere. Are they similar to Kind Bars?
It’s not Walk to Remember, but I agree that “jim” is more than enough eye candy to make up for it
Oatmeal looks extra super duper fabulous today. Enjoy your day!
I watched that this weekend too, that movie totally cracks me an my dear husband up so much!
“The Road” is one of my favorite books of all time! So spooky, but awesome, too. I can’t wait until the movie comes out…Enjoy it!
Ohhhh! I loved The Road. WAY better than Wicked, I think!
Do you ever go to hot yoga??
I ONLY go to hot yoga!
Nice!! What do you wear?! I’d LOVE to see a post on that, as I’m having trouble finding good guidelines anywhere!!
Anything sweat-wicking. I’ll try to take a photo of my outfit sometime.
Have you seen 500 Days of Summer? Great movie!!!!!
Your coffee looks like a peanut!
Who is “The Road” written by?
Cormac McCarthy
I believe that movie is 99% responsible for my relationship (which I believe is about to be Made Official). We caught it on TV when we were having our first big fight a few years ago and it somehow solved everything; we caught it again this weekend and I think it may have put a permanent stop to his waffling about getting engaged. I’m not usually a sentimental movie person, but three cheers for Jim and Mandy!! Thanks for cheering me up on a dreary Tuesday (it’s that time gray of year in Houston, too!)
Really cute movie! Loved it!
Enjoy your day
sounds like you are having some post-exam fabulousness! what a great morning!
Ah, The Road. SUCH a good book! Can’t wait to see the movie.
Hunni and I watched that movie when we were engaged and laughed hysterically. The blind driving was too much for me but the rest was hilarious.
Hey, I got my bowls yesterday! They are massive. Great for salads
Yeah, that movie? I’ve never seen it…because it looks terrible. There is something about an over the top Robin Williams that kills me. Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Will Hunting are the only movies of his I can stomach.
very cute movie indeed. cute bowl of oats as well!
I love that movie! The husband and I saw it when we were engaged. We couldn’t stop laughing!
Never seen the move. You’re oats look fab…aaaassss always. I dare you to eat your oatmeal without toppings one day :-p
I did on Sunday!!! So long as almond butter doesn’t count, they were bare as a bone!
Ohhhh how I love your use of emoticons!! I can’t figure out how to get them all into wordpress…I only know how to do the
and
I’m sure a quick google search will figure that out for me!
Don’t remind me… Christmas gift wrapping. I have about 6 hours of wrapping to do, and I have done 0 so far.
Have a fabulous and healthy day, Kath!
My comment was the 26th one!
Sa-wwweet!
Can you pretty please do a video showing us how you put in those cute little smilies and such??
Well, I would but then ALL of the blogs would start to have them and they wouldn’t be so special!
That movie is really cute. I love it when the guy takes the baby in the bathroom, bangs his head, and hangs him up. Too funny.
Your oatmeal looks fantastic! Ahhhhh “The Road,” I have been reading it on and off for two years now. I know that is crazy but I cannot bring myself to read more than a few pages at a time. It is so gripping and heart wrenching to read. Cormac McCarthy is a beautiful writer though.
I love the shapes you find in you coffee
Finding shapes in your coffee may be more fun than finding shapes in clouds
aw, i would love to spend the day listening to christmas music and wrapping presents!! enjoy your fun day off :O).
I just DVR’ed that movie to watch tonight!
On a fairly unrelated note, have you ever seen the movie “A Time to Kill”? From your general movie discussions I think you would like it. Sandra Bullock, Samuel Jackson, and Mathew McConnany(sp?) are all fabulous in it.
I have not!
Those oats look absolutely delightful! So glad you get to enjoy a snuggly day inside wrapping Christmas gifts and chilling!
I was supposed to have today off, and yet – here I am at work!
I will, I will, I will leave early though.
hope the sun starts shining for you soon – we only had 2 days of it in los angeles and i was miserable!!!
love your oats combinations!
jenna
Your oats always look so delicious!
I’ve never watched License to Wed! I’ve heard that it’s a pretty funny movie though, so I’ll have to remember that one over Christmas break!
I just LOVE wrapping presents. It always gets me in the holiday spirit!
Those oats look so good – I really need to get beyond instant plain!
That bowl of oats looks heavenly, I love your oatmeal toppings! So creative. And I love the shapes your coffee creates. Enjoy yoga tonight!
John Krasinski was the only good thing about that movie. I mean – robot babies??!!??
Still I’ll see any movie with him in it.
Leatherheads wasn’t that great either but it’s got the bonus of George Clooney.
You should see Away We Go. Kinda quirky and John can’t look less Jim like but I really enjoyed it. Both he and Maya Rudolph were fabulous and there’s a great supporting cast.
I love Jim and I totally had a dream the other day that I was having an affair with him and trying to keep it from Pam. I felt so guilty when I woke up!
Where do you get your smilies?
I’ve been making my oatmeal sans chia and I like it better I think.
Jealous of the butternut squash! I don’t have the equipment to deal with that while I’m at school
Love the icons in this post–makes it fun to look at on top of all the awesome oatmeal!
That bowl of oats looks like heaven!! pumpkin butter + butternut squash + cinnamon + vanilla = yummmmm!!

Happy TUESDAY!

Oh yes, I remember! I guess nut butters are an essential. I think I’m the one person on earch who doesn’t really like nut butters on or in my oatmeal
I could not be more with you on the movie, the oats or the weather! Where is the sunshine???
Licensed to Wed was hilarious! I love Mandy Moore!
Those oats look fantastic!!!!!
I watched License to Wed on sunday night too! I heart Jim from the office and [not kidding] was crying at the baby scene. . cute little chick flick on a cold and dreary night. ah-mazing
I also loved License to Wed…so funny!
