did you see the bit during the 'i want candy' song when she's got all those shoes in the movie? there's a pair of blue converse tossed in the mix. it was sofia coppola's way of reitterating marie antoinette's youth. i didn't notice the first time i saw it, but i went back just to check!

i keep forgetting to get sweetened coconut!!

i guess you could probably sweeten your own (and skip the artificial stuff and use organic coconut) but i suppose that might be too much work.

Thanks for saying that about peanut butter. As I was grudgingly spreading Adams natural on my toast, my husband said "why don't you just buy the kind you like?" and I realized that I don't eat more than a TBSP or sometimes 2 a day, that's not enough sugar, etc. to worry about in the grand scheme of things. A jar of Jif cruncy resides in my cupboards again. :) And I'm happy.

love coconut, i never use the sweetened kind, i have seen that reduced fat kind and have wondered if it was good, but i use just organic unsweetened raw coconut flakes...love it, but i should get the sweetened, never can have too many coconut options: coconut milk, coconut ice cream, coconut butter haha the list goes on and on ;)

Thanks!

Squash are counted as a vegetable. MyPyramid has a new "look up a food" feature that is awesome. You can look anything up to find the food group and calorie amount and change the servings. Check it out here:

I feel the same way about peanut butter as you do about coconut. I don't eat too too much of it (I do eat it every day though!) My RD was the one who pointed that out to me. She told me to eat what I like as long as I wasn't going overboard. It sounds so simple but it's really the best advice I ever got!

I totally agree about the unsweetened coconut... I bought a bag one time, hoping that I'd be convinced that it was just like the real thing and well, it wasn't!
