Christmas music is finally allowed. Woo. Hoo.
We got in a little relaxing this afternoon! I laid horizontal on the couch and watched House Hunters. Ahhhh.
But in the middle dad offered to walk with me to run an errand at the shopping center and I jumped at the opportunity for company – literally
We walked for about 30 minutes there and back. Came home to find the brothers out bike riding and mom takin’ a snooze!
‘Round 6 we geared up for dinner, piled into two cars and Christmas caroled our way to Brixx!
The brothers bonded over brews. Per usual.
When we sat down I had my traditional beer sampler. My favorite part of Brixx!! Tonight’s had the Bad Penny, Sam Adams Winter, Thirsty Dog Pumpkin (questionably AS GOOD AS the Cottonwood!!!) and Anchor Winter. [I had some help with these from the taste testers]
We shared a bruschetta
I had one
I got the Spinach Salad for dinner (with goat cheese instead of feta)
Can’t go to Brixx without a few pizzas.
I had a slice of 2/3 flavas
Once home and settled, we broke out the sugar.
I’ve been saving these Sweet N Salty Pretzels for my mom since i received them.
Bianca of Sweet N Salty by Design sent them for me to try. They are simply BEAUTIFUL and hand-made. Pretzels covered in sugar and spice and all things nice: peanut butter chips, toffee chips, white chocolate, toffee and more.
I wish I’d had sunlight to take some gorgeous photos of them!!
Mom and I tried the butterscotch white chocolate first. Divine!!
And I had a piece of the peanut butter chocolate. My mom is absolutely in love with them and raved about the sprinkles one!
I went a little overboard and I had a sliver of each leftover pie too. ‘Tis the season for pies. They are now all gone, thank goodness. But I’m counting down the days till next year’s selection!
Night my friends

Those pretzels look awesome! Lovin’ the music, too.
Mmm pie and pretzels – what a perfect ending to an awesome day! Thanks for getting me even MORE into the holiday spirit

Meg
I definitely think those pies are worth going ‘overboard’ for!
I just wanted to say that I LOVE your picture slide show on your blog. The pictures are so creative. I love the bear with the apple. SO CUTE! Happy Holidays : )
Thanks!
LOOOOOOVE that we can now listen to xmas music! I feel like a lil elf crazed on egg nog!
Glad you had a happy Thanksgiving (and day after Thanksgiving) Kath!
I love walking for errands. It kills two birds with one stone
gosh.. im salivating over the desserts!
Yay! You definitely can’t break out the Christmas music until Thanksgiving is over. Poor Thanksgiving doesn’t get any love! I think tomorrow we’re getting our treeeeeeeee!!
So excited. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!
Those pizzas AND pretzels look amazing!! Sooo pretty, LOVE!
Jenn
The pretzels and pie look absolutely yummy… hey, the holidays are a time for a little indulgence, right?
Blessings~!
Definitely need to look up those pretzels!
I’m so glad it is holiday music season! I’ve been listening for a few weeks now, but now my fiance will let me play it out loud in the apartment
I am about to rummage through my cupboard to try to recreate something that resembles those pretzels. It ain’t going to be pretty. It ain’t going to be blogged.
The pretzels look delicious!!
Yum I want those pretzels!
Oohhh that pizza crust looks a-mazing. Crispy and crunchy like a cracker, perhaps?
Those pretzels look yummy too! Chocolate-covered pretzels will always be one of my favorite desserts ever. No shame in going for pie, either!
Major sweet and salty girl here, so those pretzels look DIVINE to me! I hope you thoroughly enjoy them!
Those pretzels look awesome!!! Chocolate covered pretzels are one of my fave things, so I’d be aaalll over those. Not into the Xmas music though, you can love it enough for the both of us
gosh desert looks good, I went a little overboard with desert last night too, but hey you gotta do it some times! x x
Those pretzels look amazing. That sweet/salty combination is my favorite. Looks like you’re having a great time with all the company.
Those pretzels are so cute! They would be fun stocking stuffers.
We listened to our first bout of Christmas music as well– we had to! We were going to the Christmas tree farm!
Christmas music is allowed year round at my house – come visit
Mine too!!! We’re meant to be together.

I’m a big stickler for no christmas music until after Thanksgiving! I’m excited to officially start to enjoy it!
Those pretzels look AMAZING!!!!!
What a fabulous evening! That bruschetta looks SO good!!! And perfect to end the evening with a few sweets.
WOW! those pretzels look sooo great! and so does your plate full of pies
jenna
DAAANGG! girl u can sure put it away! i mean a piece of pretzel and a slice of EVERY pie? tis the season! i should try that
Oh, and i have a question about the whole “muffin in the oatmeal” thing, doesn’t that add up to a lot of calories, why not just have the muffin?
That’s pretty rude.
Maria,
Just the muffin is boring. And crumbling makes it go very far. That’s why I use 1/3 a cup of oats – to save room for toppings.
Each of those pretzels look enticing! I could have eaten all of them!
Chocolate covered pretzels are my favorite thing on earth. And that pizza looks amazing!
Christmas is rockin’ at our house! Tree is all decorated too!!!
Those pretzels look incredible! They don’t happen to sell vegan selections do they???
Yay to xmas music!!! I’m so happy it’s ok to listen again!
We had cake, pumpkin pie, and pecan pie! Thank goodness the only one left is the pumpkin, which I don’t eat.
Laughing over the X-mas music comment. My husband is in full X-mas preparation mode garlands this weekend and likely a tree close behind. Those pretzels look amazing!
We also have the “no Christmas music until after Thanksgiving” rule – so I’m excited that it’s Christmas music time!
Those pretzels look AMAZING! Yum!
