With Nate Archibald!!!! I had crazy dreams about him last night and now I can’t stop thinking about him. LOL. I think I am becoming one with Gossip Girl.
(And while I was doing research for this post, I had NO IDEA that Chuck is really British!!!!!!!!!! His accent totally caught me off guard!!)

I woke up pretty hungry this AM despite going to bed with such a full stomach.
Oatmeal day!
- 1/3 cup oats, soy milk, water, half banana, pinch salt
- 2 dried figs
- Malted barley sprinkle
- Salty peanuts
- Nature’s Path granola
- Spoonful Barney Butter
My two main objections to decaf coffee:
1) It’s harder to find outstanding flavors in decaf
2) The chemical solvents used in the decaffeinating process are kind of iffy
But there is a Swiss water method to decaffeinate that is much more natural, and I noticed that the Marley Coffee decaf sample uses this method. So it’s only test was taste!
I made a cup of half caf, half decaf. It was great!! I will definitely be seeking out more Marley Coffee when these samples are gone 
I am usually a shower-a-holic about putting on normal clothes, but I think I am going to save my workout for later today and just throw on some shorts and run some errands. We’ve got a beautiful, sparkling day out there to enjoy, and I think I am going to make a HUGE PURCHASE today. TBA!!!

a while ago you asked for tips on drizzling nut butters. i’ve finally found the easiest way (meaning, no dirtying more dishes, no using the microwave, etc.) simply store your jars upside down. not only does this keep them from separating but when you remove the lid it becomes the perfect drizzler! the heat of the oats does all the rest of the work

The new season of gossip girl premieres tomorrow!!- that show is so addicting.
A lot of times I find that when I go to bed full or eat closer to the time I go to bed, I wake up hungrier than normal- not sure why, but it seems to be a trend, perhaps this is what’s happened to you?
What is it about going to bed full that makes you that much hungrier the next morning?! I had the same thing this morning after eating more than I usually would at a cookout last night.

Kath, a question for you and all the petite ones there. I am ~ 5 ft 1′ and small-framed. Often people (silly friends and my mother-in-law ) make fun of me for being so tiny since they are all well-rounded and tall in general. Have any one of you faced that? How do you deal with it?
I pretend that I don’t mind it so much but sure get pissed sometimes. I am super healthy, toned and can out run most of them. I know all that but can’t help being irritated.
Swiss water processed decaf is the way to go! I was a starbucks barista for 6 years, and I can’t tell you how many people I converted to SWP decaf!

I’ve never seen Gossip Girl so I’ve only heard him with a british accent. However I assume the surprise would have been the same as when I found out Dr. House is actually british. Shocked the heck out of me.
I never even thought about how they get the caffiene out of coffee. I think I’ll go google it. I drink a good bit of it so it might be good info to have.

With all your posts about finding great coffee, it has really got me in the mood for a really yummy cup. Coffee is delicious, kinda like chocolate is delcious…that deep, dark, almost bitter but just right taste. Mmmmm. Can’t wait to see what your big purchase will be!

Just milk or half and half, depending on the week. No sugar!!! I gave it up cold turkey and have never looked back. I like the contrast of my sweet breakfast with the “savory” coffee.
