Lots and lots of sweet pumpkin sheet cakes…cream cheese frosting… [on the Ohs and a little for me on a spoon!]
and…powdered sugar.
The Oh factory was workin’ hard! Everything in here is made from scratch -
In other bakery news…
Matt made some fabulous sourdough bread – the baking needs a little tweaking, but the bread tastes amazing!
And ladies and gentlemen, we have nut butter back in stock!
We both worked late – Matt making Ohs and me closing down the registers – and came home to want a very simple dinner.
Leftover casserole from last night… LOVING the cornbread topper!! So crispy.
Along with what I’d deem a hybrid of scrambled eggs and fried rice. Tomatoes, broccoli, pepper and mushroom sautéed with 2 eggs, cheese and Dr. Pete’s Praline Mustard Glaze and Garlic Chili Sauce. It was quite the dish!!
Speaking of pumpkin, Matt’s pumpkin beer is being kegged as I type! And oh the irony of going to sip his “moonshine” during the third episode of Prohibition!

Oh my goodness those pumpkin rolls look SO good! I think I just heard my stomach growl…
the pumpkin Oh’s look so good!!!!
With the sweet tooth I’ve had today, I could have devoured at least one of those by myself!
I’ve heard that it’s illegal to send EtOH via postal services…how willing are you to break the law so I can sample this brew?
You my beer lover, need to come visit.
Make sure to get the sheets on the guest bed soon!
Salivating over the pumpking rolls!

Those pumpkin rolls look unbelievable! what a romantic candlelit dinner
Yup, I definitely could never work in a bakery. Those pumpkin rolls wouldn’t make it out of the kitchen without bites in them
Oh my gosh. That all looks to die forrr! Yumm
Just looking at all of these photos of delicious baked goods (especially the pumpkin roll!) is making my mouth water! I would be in big trouble if I worked there…
MORE irony: my article about the guy who filmed Prohibition was published today! You can read about it here:

Those pumpkin rolls look AMAZING! Been rocking ALL my tests so far in Bio and Anatomy & Physiology–I love school!
Congrats!
holy deliciousness!!!!
Those pumpkin rolls look divine. Are they available at other Great Harvest locations, or are they specific to your store? Wondering if I can find them near me…
Every store is different, so it depends. But lots do have them
That’s actually not the proper usage of irony.
That is a whole lot of pumpkin sweetness! MMmmmmm!
that was a lot of pumpkin rolls! They must be amazing if they’re that high in demand!
Those rolls look fun to make!
Holy yum! Do you guys ship those rolls?!
They need to be refrigerated, so no
Oh my gosh. Those pumpkin rolls!!!! I seriously said “OH MY GOSH” out loud when I opened your blog! Those look heavenly. I think a piece of one should appear in a big bowl of oats at some point soon
Enjoy your moonshine! haha!
The Dr. Pete’s Praline Mustard Glaze sounds wonderful. But the rolls, that pumpkin and that frosting or filling…oh, heaven right there. I would love to sample one of those bad boys!

Woah! Lotta pumpkin rollin’ ! Looks great
Oh my! I am drooling over here staring at those pumpkin rolls! Do you deliver to PA?! Haha

kath you make my heart swoon with these pictures! seriously cannot get enough of the pumpkin ohs. would kill to serve one at thanksgiving brunch!
OH my goodness!!! LOOKs amazingly delicious! Can I please have some?!
Great pictures from the bakery of all those yummy pumpkin rolls. I am impressed you’re making sourdough, it’s so tough to get right. But I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, it seems everything you two do at the bakery is top notch.
Those pumpkin rolls look incredible!! They’re like orange hoho’s!!!
I’m excited for you for the homebrew! I wish I could come over – it sounds yummy!
holy pumpkin rolls! they look delicious! they are my fave!
Kath, it was so nice to see you when my friends and I stopped by the bakery today
The samples were delicious, especially the pumpkin cream cheese spread! And thanks to Matt for making the Pumpkin Oh for us right on the spot! My friends had never been to GH before, but now they are in love as much as I am and were super impressed with the awesome service. The Pumpkin Oh is SO good, and I can’t wait to dig into the carrot muffin for breakfast tomorrow morning!! I’ll definitely be back soon
SO nice to meet you guys!! And very happy you love the roll!
Those pumpkin sheet cakes look soooo delicious!! I wish there was a Great Harvest on the East Coast.
On the East Coast? Where do you live?
I’m in Central NJ. Do you know of any new GH opening up in this area?
I don’t, sorry
Kath, stop making me feel bad that I don’t live in C-ville. I guess I’m going to have to visit soon?
Indeed!
That first set of photos is just cruel! Though I’m making cake pops for an event next week – pumpkin cake, cream cheese icing, dark chocolate dip, fall sprinkles – and I’ll just have to console myself with the fact that mine are cuter
Wow those rolls look amazing. I bet those are very popular this month and next.
Great shots of the pumpkin oh making in the bakery! While I have never been a big fan of Ohs. Those look amazing!
You are super stocked on nut butter. Will you order more before the holidays?
http://faithfulsolutions.blogspot.com/
Maybe but hopefully not
Wow! All those rolls look impressive! I think it’s so cool that everything y’all do is from scratch.
Mmmmm pumpkin rolls! I need to learn how to make those.. stat!
I want to roll with that!
Pumpkin rolls are the best! So wish I could have a piece.
Those rolls looks scrumptious! I bet Christmastime is going to be SO much fun at the bakery.
YUM. I want a pumpkin oh!
Wow, the pumpkin rolls look delicious. I wish I live in Cville.
Gosh one of those rolls and a cup of coffee would send my taste buds to heaven right now!
I may have just DROOLED on myself over those pumpkin rolls! YUM! And thanks for the tip on Bread Baker’s Apprentice…it arrived in the mail today and I am PSYCHED to try it!
That first picture is like a scene out of my own personal heaven. Good lord.
When I was growing up, all the neighbors would do a cookie exchange for Christmas. But my next-door neighbor would always make a pumpkin roll for each of us- it looked just like yours! Obviously, it was always my favorite.
Even though I stuffed myself silly with pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving last weekend, it hasn’t spoiled my appetite for pumpkin. These look amazing!
I’m not usually a pumpkin roll kinda gal, but oh my word these look delicious! Especially with that lovely dusting of super fine powdered sugar. Yum! Send some up to the New England area, please?
Wow – they look soooo wonderful! I guess it’s a good thing we don’t have a bakery like yours around here! Truly though, I really wish we did. The breads look amazing and good for you at the same time – which not all bread is like that (many healthy breads just don’t taste good)! Come open up a bakery here and visit the wine country and other great food places out this way at the same time – I’ll give you a tour! We could eat our way through Sonoma County.
wow, those rolls look divine!!
love the simple dinners you come up with when you’re exhausted — it’s all about the creativity! We might need to start making Oh’s at our GH but they look like so much work. Is it as much as it seems?
Yes
Oh good…that’ll be a selling point, for sure
Love that I found you via Denise – my husband Bob kept suggesting sourdough bread (his fave) and I blogged about the shop after a delicious delivery to the Needle Lady! Great writing Kath! Would so enjoy a sheblogs meeting soon!!
Wonderful! Sourdough should be debuting next week!
Your dinner side looks to me like a de-constructed egg foo yung… my hub’s go-to choice for chinese…and it looks delish!
BTW, finally opened my bag of cville cluster, went on top of my oatmeal this morning… sooooo good! thanks to you and Matt for making it available to us, I know shipping is so.much.work!
So glad you like it!
I love pumpkin rolls – I am always amazed at how thin the sheet cake must be in order to successfully roll! It seems so delicate but then rolls right up!
UVA wants these! I’m hosting an event for the class of 2015 on November 5th, and we’re expecting 500 attendees. Would Great Harvest like to supply any items?
Do you mean donate them? We might be able to – send me an email. Doubt we could do pumpkin ohs because they are super expensive and labor intensive, but we could probably do bread
Great pics of making that bread, it looks so good!
I like the egg-fried veggies! It’s a good way to get my “hates veggies” husband to eat some more
I love making rolls at home, but at the bakery they were a pain. These look delicious though. What do you use for fats in the bakery? Mine used transfat margarine and shortening YUCK
No shortening at our place! Cream cheese, sugar and the like
