Holy Crabcake

August 7, 2009

Wheee! My I am so glad to be blogging again. Don’t take your blogs for granted guys!

After our ladies day out this morning, we had lunch in the bistro here at Edenwald.

I snacked on a few of those delicious smoked almonds before we went down – they are so good!

We met Uncle Mel and Aunt Betty down at the bistro

Here are three generations

It was almost 1:30 and we were super hungry and dove onto this cracker basket! I had a packet of Clubs. Love those!

For lunch I ordered a good ole Maryland crabcake, broiled. I don’t think there was even mayo in this guy – he was 100% crabalicious. It came as a sandwich, but I just ate him without the bun.

Plus a few dips of tartar sauce

I can’t remember the last time I ordered my own fries, but sweet potatoes are the BEST and I didn’t see a side salad choices, so I went for ‘em. They were fab.

I ate the whole crabcake and about half of the fries. And the strawberry for some extra nutrients!

After lunch grandmother offered homemade cookies. I had a nice crunchy wafer cookie.

It looks as if Mattie kicked Mimsey out of her new beach chair.

Mimsey has relocated to the other side of the dollhouse

Mom and I are going out for a walk before we all rendezvous for a dinner outing.

Just fyi, I can’t see the images (I see for example the IMG_0329 (640×480) text), in your previous layout I had no problems. I blog from Europe if this matters.

Sweet potato fries are my favorite kind, especially with a little kosher salt.

Sweet potato fries are the best! There’s a place near me that cuts them into little coins – they’re so much fun!
