They’re up! After hours and hours (and hours!) of work, my two highlight videos are up. They’re not even that great! I had to break it it two because of YouTube’s restrictions. Enjoy

Part I

Part II

My stomach felt kind of queasy this morning! Maybe I am getting used to US water again!? Or maybe I have turned against oatmeal….But I recovered after noon and we went out running. It’s a gorgeous day here – sunny blue skies and warm. My run was a little slow, but it sure felt good to get out there and go again. I asked Matt all about his week – what he ate, his exercise schedule and social activities 😉 Then we spent the rest of the run discussing methods to save up for a trip to London + Paris this Christmas! We think we can make it work, but still aren’t sure if we’re ready to commit. At least we’ll start saving! We also want to go to Boston this summer to visit Larbs + Matt.

We got back from our run at 2:30! Late lunch alert. We quickly showered and decided on smashed grilled cheeses and big salads.

We used this Kerrygold cheese which was sent in BOGO free coupon form from FoodBuzz’s Tastemaker Program. It was delish. Very tangy + creamy.

You will get a sweet deal going to London and Paris in Dec. Airfare is dropping and regardless, it’s the off season. Hope you can swing it.

2 Sharon March 22, 2009 at 3:51 pm

Incredible x10000!!!!

Hope your queasiness is gone!! It is probably due to the fact that you’re recovering from travel and such.

Hi, Kath!

I didn’t have a grilled cheese today, but I did have almost that same salad! Totally crazy??!!

And I so enjoyed following along on your trip to Africa — what an awesome adventure!!

Glad you’re back, though! There’s no place like home, eh? 😉

I love Kerrygold Cheese! They always hand out sample of Dubliner at the Race for the Cure in Chicago and we always manage to grab multiple handfuls.

Jealous of your outdoor dining. It is sunny here, but not quite warm enough to enjoy the balcony chairs.

10 Lindsey (Mrs. LC) March 22, 2009 at 4:21 pm

Wow, your travels to Africa looked amazing! I really hope I have the opportunity to travel there myself one day. :)

Great videos. Glad to hear you have gotten over the jet lag. My stomach is out of sycn for about a day after these long trips.

London and Paris 2 of my favorite walking cities.. Let me know if you need info on Paris. We go each July to see the final stage of the Tour. I lived in London for 6 years, will be going back in December as well (beer research)

Hey… So I just Vanessa. Sounds like the trip was amazing and I now understand the connection wasn’t as ‘small world’ as I first thought. Looks like you both had an amazing experience there.

Hi Kath! Your videos were amazing, thank you for sharing them with us!

HELP ME MAKE PERFECT GRILLED CHEESE! I have tried and tried, but can’t seem to master this very easy skill. Can you give me step by step instructions? Oven temperature? Broiler? I need help! I asked Matt in the comments the other night when he made it, but I don’t believe he answered me….thank you so much!

20 Lisa March 22, 2009 at 5:13 pm

I love love love Kerrygold cheese! I’ve never tried it grilled, just with crackers and wine.

21 Cole March 22, 2009 at 5:19 pm

23 Chris March 22, 2009 at 5:50 pm

Welcome home! I showed the classroom video to my kids – 1st and 4th grade – and they were in absolute awe. My 1st grader wanted to know if the kids have their own seats and desks in another room. My 4th grader said, “Mama! They could be in advanced math!” Thanks again for sharing all of this.

24 Caitlin March 22, 2009 at 5:56 pm

Videos were an awesome idea!

32 Kath March 22, 2009 at 7:29 pm

Fancy ,
He says: 350* on bake. Leave in for 10-15 minutes. Broiler is too risky for burns.

Chris ,
Awww. Glad they liked it :)

33 Fancy March 22, 2009 at 7:48 pm
