Help I’m Trapped!

July 27, 2011

I’m trapped at the bakery with no blogging machine – our computer AC adapter died and no one knew it until the battery had 1 minute left.  Luckily we’re under warranty and a new cord should arrive tomorrow.

My lunch featured

…a salad made with kidney beans, avocado and goat feta

…a hunk of High 5 bread

…and cherries! Lots of cherries!

Actual results may differ from photo. Below cherries from 2010!

And since I’m trapped with no blogging machine…here’s a wonderful video my mom sent about a humpback whale who was trapped in a net and set free by a group of whale researchers! The end is quite exhilarating.

Free Willy!

Batteries always die at the most inconvenient times, don’t they? I hate that!

I love whales!

We just got back from a trip to Quebec and saw beluga and minke whales! They’re such beautiful creatures.

Hope your computer gets going again soon…what a bummer.

Oh – where in Quebec??

lol – “blogging machine” :) So wait – what are you using then? And do you typically blog from a laptop at the bakery – you use your desktop at home right?

On the north coast of the Saint Lawrence River, and went through Montreal on the way there. So beautiful! (You can read the recaps on my blog.) :)

I’ve been obsessed with cherries all summer so those look great! Weird story about whales – when I was little my parents did that thing where you “adopt” a whale so they sent me a framed picture of “my” humpback whale. I loved that thing. I always thought about him and hoped he was ok!

Haha. Oh no! I tried to blog on my phone while traveling for work a while ago. It did not feel like blogging at all. Hope the replacement arrives ok. And I’m sure cherries this year are just as delicious as cherries in 2010.

I hate technology, there’s always the potential for odd things like that to happen!
A bakery is one of the places I think I’d most liked to be trapped inside of… haha.

Blogging machine, hehe. That is one of its most important functions, for sure! :) And cherries, OH cherries. I’ve been eating so many of them lately — just can’t get enough. Hope your 2011 cherries are just as purty as their ’10 counterparts. :)

I know how it feels to have no computer. We bought a new computer a few weeks ago, because our desktop is old and not working efficiently. We gave the old and new computer to a tech. guy last Tuesday, and did not get them both back until today.

Anyways, I felt lost without our computer–almost like I was in the 1980’s or something (LOL)

Thankfully, we got our computer back today, and I no longer feel lost!
