Don’t really have a hangover – more like a hang-under-the-weather. I slept pretty poorly – need to remedy all of this with some gorgeous superfoods and a little TLC to this body of mine.

Lately, Fun > Body

Feeling a little blurry…

24 hours until the return of GOSSIP GIRL!!!!!!! Since we don’t have a TV, I will have to wait for it to go up online. This could be painful and enough reason to buy a TV!

Hahaha hangUNDER! Clever 😉 I hope you feel better soon, though – SIAB is bound to cheer up any day.

2 Sarena (The Non-Dairy Queen) September 12, 2010 at 8:11 am

Oh, I hope you feel better. My sleep has been sporadic lately, so I feel your pain on that. Hopefully today will be relaxing and refreshing!

3 Jessica @ How Sweet It Is September 12, 2010 at 8:12 am

I hate not sleeping well. I’ve had a case of it too – I think from allergies. Heres to gettin’ some sleep!

4 Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin September 12, 2010 at 8:17 am

I always have bad sleeps whenever I drink alcohol. :(

I’m so excited for Gossip Girl too! I hope Chuck is okay!

5 Hannah September 12, 2010 at 8:20 am

Hope you feel better soon – I haven’t been sleeping well lately either, and it can put a serious dampener on your day. Rest up, Kath – and in the meantime, keep delighting in your Fall foods!

6 Estela @ Weekly Bite September 12, 2010 at 8:23 am

I think I have a hangunder too…. Nothing a workout/nap won’t cure :)

Have a great day!

7 Gabriela @ Une Vie Saine September 12, 2010 at 8:29 am

HAHA, I’m going to have to wait for GG too!! Still don’t have my cable set up…oy. Hope you feel better today!!

8 Anna @ Newlywed, Newly Veg September 12, 2010 at 8:37 am

If Gossip Girl is hard, think about how hard it’s going to be when Glee returns. You need a tv. :-)

9 Heather (Heather's Dish) September 12, 2010 at 8:43 am

all i want right now is a big cup of hot coffee! looks so good :)

10 Natalia @asideofsimple September 12, 2010 at 8:44 am

Gossip Girl! Love it. I don’t have a tv in my apartment but i go over my friends’ house and we have a wine and dine night and watch it together. I can’t wait to see what happens this season!

11 Jazz September 12, 2010 at 8:47 am

GG!! We don’t have cable so I have to watch it online too – I like it better with no commercials!

12 Candice @ Baby Beluga September 12, 2010 at 8:49 am

Defintely in the same boat with you. No TV and Gossip Girl and Glee are coming on!! AHH

13 Freya (Brit Chick Runs) September 12, 2010 at 8:49 am

OOhhh you’re so lucky you get Gossip Girl! I’ve only seen up to season 2..I can’t wait for 3!

14 holly @ couchpotatoathlete September 12, 2010 at 9:10 am

Eek — so happy we have a TV — I didn’t have a tv through college (good for studying) but it was so hard when I wanted to watch my favorite shows!

SIAB looks delicious as always!

15 Lindsey @ Gingerbread Bagels September 12, 2010 at 9:11 am

I hope you feel better soon. I just hate waking up feeling like that.
The Galaxy Granola looks tasty, I was thinking about trying that. Now I might have to. :)

16 Nicole - yuppie yogini September 12, 2010 at 9:19 am

Be strong…you’ll get used to watching things delayed.

17 Camille September 12, 2010 at 9:30 am

Ick, that’s not fun!
I went through a big period of not sleeping well and then it just abruptly stopped. Now I sleep like a baby. Hope that is the case for you too!

18 Valerie @ City|Life|Eats September 12, 2010 at 9:48 am

Fun breakfast! Feel better :)

19 Mary @ Bites and Bliss September 12, 2010 at 9:56 am

I love raw oatmeal over SIAB! The extra chew’s great :)

Hope you feel better!

20 Grocery Goddess Jen September 12, 2010 at 9:56 am

I’m a whole season behind on Gossip Girl! I need to catch up before I can watch this season :(

21 Lauren at KeepItSweet September 12, 2010 at 9:58 am

aw feel better! i have been congested all week and everything seems blurry!

22 Ashley @ Nourishing the Soul September 12, 2010 at 9:59 am

I may just have to finally check out Gossip Girl. Even my 18-year-old brother is obsessed with it!

23 Ally @ Girl in Her Kitchen September 12, 2010 at 10:14 am

I have never seen Gossip Girl! Might have to check it out! I can’t believe you don’t have a TV. That actually sounds kind of freeing.

24 Gina September 12, 2010 at 10:24 am

OMG! I totally forgot that Gossip Girl is returning this week! Thanks for the reminder. I’m obsessed.
I’m never home to watch it, so I watch online too. Don’t you hate how the CW waits a few days before posting?

25 Stacie @ Imperfectly Healthy September 12, 2010 at 10:25 am

Ah! I have Gossip Girl scheduled on my Google Calendar. Is that sad?? :) I just can’t wait to see what happens with Chuck and Georgina/Dan!

26 lynn (The Actors Diet) September 12, 2010 at 10:28 am

i thought there would be some dark leafy greens in that bowl from the color, but there isn’t! my vega tropical smoothie mix is orange – is it the kiwi making it green?!?!

27 Kath September 12, 2010 at 2:09 pm

My Tropical one is still greenish

28 stacey-healthylife September 12, 2010 at 10:30 am

I hate morning’s when the weather or lack of sleep leave me feeling groggy.

29 Laura @ Blogging Over Thyme September 12, 2010 at 10:37 am

Episodes go up about 2-3 hours after they air! CW tv’s website sucks in comparison. Hope this helps!

30 Kath September 12, 2010 at 2:09 pm

31 Heather September 12, 2010 at 11:06 am

I haven’t been sleeping well either – I blame stress though!

I stopped watching Gossip Girl but always love to hear what you think of it. Enjoy your day!

32 Angela @ Eat Spin Run Repeat September 12, 2010 at 11:20 am

Aww I hope you feel better soon. I have a TV but honestly don’t watch it much. I AM however incredibly excited about the return of Glee! :)

33 [email protected] September 12, 2010 at 11:24 am

OH NO! Our cable is out this week and you just reminded me about Gossip Girl. I guess I’ll have to watch it online too..

34 Angela (ohsheglows) September 12, 2010 at 11:31 am

I have to wait for GG to be online tooo…it’s so tough! It almost makes it sweeter though 😉
I can’t believe it begins tomorrow!

35 Laura @ Blogging Over Thyme September 12, 2010 at 1:11 pm

Go to http://www.ch131.com — it goes up after like an hour or two after its aired.

36 [email protected] September 12, 2010 at 11:43 am

I hope you feel better! I can’t wait for Gossip Girl either! Love love love that show :)

37 Chelsea at Striking Balance September 12, 2010 at 11:44 am

Ohhh Gossip Girl! Soo exciting!! Thanks for the reminder

38 Chelsey September 12, 2010 at 11:46 am

I find that having a TV isn’t even something we truly need around here. We have a new 46 inch flat screen that is hanging on the wall, but it rarely even gets watched!

39 A Teenage Gourmet (Sami) September 12, 2010 at 12:20 pm

I would love to try one of your smoothies. You’re daring with your ingredients. :)

40 aj September 12, 2010 at 12:21 pm

casttv.com has been my time waster for over a year now. They post all of the shows pretty quickly. Gossip Girl is normally up pretty fast.

breakfast looks good!

41 Morgan @ Healthy Happy Place September 12, 2010 at 12:36 pm

you guys dont have a TV?! oh my… I don’t know what I’d do without mine!

42 Chelsea @ Strawberry Sweat September 12, 2010 at 12:52 pm

I’ve been feeling the exact same way for the past couple days! Hope that SIAB puts you back to rights!

43 Chelsea (Chelsea's Chew and Run Fun) September 12, 2010 at 12:53 pm

Awww, I hear ya on the feeling not-quite-right sensation. I think a powerful cup of coffee and a powerful sweat will renew your body to its energized potential. Powerhouse smoothies like the one you just enjoyed will most definitely aid in your recovery.

44 Stacey @ The Habit of Healthy September 12, 2010 at 1:14 pm

Yeah, feeling horrible & fright kind of blows. Let’s hope all those nutrients make you feel better! :)

45 Dynamics September 12, 2010 at 1:44 pm

If you do not want to purchase cable, direct tv or dish, “free tv” is an alternative. All you need is an antennae or HD antennae. The antennae are a lot different now and smaller.

46 Tina September 12, 2010 at 1:56 pm

Hope you feel better!!! I hate waking up feeling tired, headachey, etc.

47 Katie September 12, 2010 at 3:05 pm

I’ve been sleeping poorly too lately. I blame my late nights with Harry Potter though. 😀

48 Gree September 12, 2010 at 3:58 pm

I love Gossip Girl..and Glee! What is it about those shows? We don’t have a TV either but may have to cave as well, our new place has satellite internet and that just doesn’t work for streaming media.

49 Emilia @ Namaste Gurl September 12, 2010 at 5:21 pm

Superfoods ALWAYS make me feel better :) Especially my faves– nut butter, bloobs, spinach, avocado and broccoli :) Yum. Hope you feel better, Kath!

50 Bee Goes Bananas September 12, 2010 at 5:46 pm

White chocolate peanut butter is my FAVOURITE! Sometimes I go downstairs to make lunch or go out and find I have my finger in a jar of it. Oops, how did that get in there? Haha!

51 notyet100 September 12, 2010 at 11:07 pm

u always come up with awesoem combos,.

52 Kim S September 26, 2010 at 9:08 am

I’m not sure if you’ve answered this question before, but after you take the beautiful picture of your oatmeals or smoothies, do you mix everything together?

53 Kath September 26, 2010 at 9:09 am

Nope I eat in layers!
