Hey everybody, Matt here. Kath is sick this evening! And not just a mild cold, but running a fever of 104* (as measured by the meat thermometer!!). Never fear, I stuffed the meat with some Ibu Profin and basted with a ginger-ale glaze. When it comes out of the oven (hopefully tomorrow morning) I plan on serving with a giant side of banana oatmeal.
Asheville was really fun, and most exciting of all, we got to meet Jenna !!!

She was really fun and it’s too bad we don’t live closer because I think we’d all be great friends. I was the photographer of the day, so you’re likely to see lots of similar pictures between the two blogs. I don’t want to tell all the fun details of our afternoon because it won’t be as special when Kath puts up the pictorial summary, but our vacation was spent enjoying the mountain climate, seeing the local sites, and of course savoring delicious food!
I hope everybody had an enjoyable and patriotic weekend! (and if you’re a KERF reader from abroad, I’m pretty sure you can still have a patriotic weekend as well)

And you know, I had forgotten but Jenna said that she was feeling sick, so there’s a strong chance that Kath got it from her since we were sharing everything during lunch!
But wait, you say, why aren’t you sick the husband? Well I pretty much have an immune system that fights the plague… I’m sure I’ll be eating my words tomorrow of course.
Matt you are too funny!
Kath, hope you feel better soon
I was excited to see that you all got to meet!
Coincidence that Jenna and Kath are both sick now? I think not…I think some germs got shared
Hope Kath (and Jenna) feel better soon!
Get better Kath!!!
(love the blog btw!)
Oh no! Tell Kath we all hope she feels better! They probably got it off of each other, but I hope no one else gets sick! Looking forward to the post!
Were you not sick a couple months ago, Matt? I remember K blogging about how she couldn’t sleep well cause u kept her up with your sniffles.
I guess it’s pay back time.
Ibuprofen is one word, with an I and E, not two Is.
That is so awesome that you all got to meet!
Feel better soon, Kath!
