GREEK + GREEN

Morning was good. Finished another essay question!

Elliptical warm-up at the gym was good.

Sculpt was good. Felt the burn…hard!

Shower was good

Lunch was good!

I made a Greek salad – lettuce with olives, capers, avocado, hummus, carrot and some Melba toasts

IMG_5447 (640x427)

IMG_5449 (640x427)

Plus a Greek yogurt mixture – a container of plain Oikos with a heaping tbsp of PB2, chopped apple, cinnamon and a few salted peanuts

Stood on a chair to capture this!

NERD KERF: Episode IV

Google Tasks! How I stay sane:

***

It is only 66* in our house!! It’s too early for heat, though, so I’m just freezing in a fleece preparing for Montana weather.

Gotta do another essay question, PACK, fold laundry and hit the road for class at 5PM.

(And OMG to Josh Groban’s version of Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring! Just came on Pandora!)

My husband makes us keep the house at 66 all the time! BRRRR. Sometimes I rebel and put it up to 68…

Glad for the good day :) I’m a person who would much rather be cold than hot. There are only so many clothes you can take off without being indecent!

I seriously adore these KERF Nerd vids!

And capers & olives in salad is my fave. Clearly I’ve got a thing for sodium ;)

NERD KERF is awesome! thanks Kath :)

I use all the thing you mention, but I’ve learnt a tip/trick I didn’t know about each video!

Have a fantastic time in Montana! You are going to be driving through a beautiful area

I just broke down and turned on the heat yesterday :( But I am in Boston…
I’m actually not a fan of olives or capers, but your photography looks so beautiful! I know you have a great camera (better than mine) but do you have any lighting tricks you want to pass on? (I know no flash…)

We keep our house set at 66 in the winter and fall to save money. We just bundle up in layers. The heat has come on already because it’s in the mid 40s today!

12 Anne Marie@New Weigh of Life October 15, 2009 at 1:45 pm

It’s around that temp in our house too-we have it set that way to keep our bills down. It’s cold, but I’d rather put on an extra sweatshirt!

I saw someone suggest Mckenzie River Pizza on your earlier post. Its a Montana chain, and one of my favorites. The green horn sandwich (which is all veggies plus pesto mayo) is the best, but I am never dissapointed with anything there.
It is supposed to be like 50 in West this weekend so at least you will have warm/ good weather!

Anywho, have a safe flight and ENJOY!

Seriously, you don’t want to know how cold it is in Scotland!

Anyway, I don’t know if you can get these bars (or this brand) in the states, but if you can, I would highly recommend them, particularly the cranberry and almond. So so tasty, and very natural. And no, I don’t work for them, just thought you might like them!

I need to get back on the salad track. I used to have a ton of greens around, but since I’m the only one who eats them they go bad pretty quickly and bad lettuce = stinky.

Can’t wait to check out your new gmail video, they are so helpful!

I wonder where I can find PB2 out here in the country, your yogurt combo looks divine!

I can leave the heat on 66-67 if the sun is shining, but our windows are drafty, so if it’s overcast and/or windy I have to turn it up to 68-69 just to keep from shivering. I hate it!

Going to listen to Josh Groban – Jesu was one of our wedding processional songs!!

Loved the video, just wondering, have you replaced todoist with google tasks, or do you still use todoist? Also, is there any way to not have to open up a completely new window to see google calender, reader, etc?

Emily,
Just that natural light and no flash are the way to go. If you can’t have natural light, have as much light as you can from lamps.

the kitkat,
I’m guessing they’re not over here, but if (when!) I come back to the UK, I can’t wait to try some new foods!

Ashley,
It IS a condiment size one!! I don’t usually eat oatmeal with it – mostly just yogurt and other smooth things.

Isabel,
I am 100% Google tasks now, although I do still think ToDoist is a better program. I just like having the Google ones integrated now, so I switched. You can pop it out of the window, but I don’t think it has its own browser page.

Susan,
Haha – LOVE IT!

Kath
