Kath RD, I have another question for you. I was doing my Sunday grocery shopping and ran into Salba. I googled it and found it to be similar to Chia, are they the same? Do they offer equal health benefits? Is one better than the other?
I hope you enjoy this beautiful fall day! Happy birthday month to you!

After a little more research this seems to be a long debated topic. So, I guess there may or may not be an answer 🙂

To be honest, I really don’t know anything about salba, although I have heard they are really similar. I’d bet their nutritional benefits are comparable.

What an awesome day 🙂 I wish we had great events like that in my community; biking and local farmers, what could be better 🙂 Loved that it ended with soup, too!
