Fullcakes

October 27, 2009

If you thought you’d see cupcake oatmeal this morning you are mistaken.

GUF. I am STILL FULL.

I drank a bunch of water before i went to bed last night and I think I actually woke myself up as I dosed off with everything trying to come back up……ack!

I waited two hours to get an inkling of hunger this morning before having anything for breakfast. I’m going to yoga with Kelsey and wanted something in my stomach. I made a smaller bowl of pumpkin pie yogurt + granola + banana + pumpkin butter.

[Is it bad that my "small" breakfast is probably most people's normal breakfast!? Probably so...]

Kelsey and I are trying a new yoga studio today – Y2Yoga. A friend introduced me to the owner, so I’m excited to test out some hot yoga that is closer to my house!

Speaking of which…I have to leave in 5 minutes and I’m not dressed! Later!

I’m like you, most mornings I have to have a big breakfast and then the rest of my meals tend to be smaller than the average person. I like it that way, it gives me all day to digest and I’m not left constantly hungry and munching like I am on the days I only have a bowl of cereal. Oh and now you’re 27 on the 27th, that’s almost as cool as 26 on 26.

Oooh good luck at yoga. If I still felt full from dinner I wouldn’t be able to handle hot yoga!

I hope you like the new studio!

I prefer doing yoga on an empty stomach, I focus so much better and if the room is hot, having food in my stomach makes me want to hurl.

I’m always behind on Tuesday mornings, too. Early classes and running don’t mix. I don’t know why I just made myself a big bowl of oats to conquer, on top of all that!

I think that most people eat what they can get, out of the machine at work. And I love the new banner. Good stuff!

Hot yoga sounds awesome! I’ve been looking into new activities that will give me a chance to switch it up…so far kickboxing is on the list, but now I may have to try some ‘sauna yoga’ Have a good yoga session! :)

You’re right, actually, your small bowl of oats looks like my normal bowl… but I’m still a little hungry so maybe you’ve got teh right idea with your larger breakfasts.. :)

For some reason no matter how much I eat at night, I’m still full in the morning. We’re talking pizza and garlic knots at three am, and ravenous when I wake up at 9…guess I’m a freak of nature :) Enjoy your day!

My breakfasts are alllways twice as big as the average person. (Who probably skips breakfast entirely.) But I remind myself that they’re probably going to eat a TON of calories later in the day, while I eat a smaller but still filling lunch and dinner. :) Glad you had a great bday Kath!
