It’s been a friends kind of Saturday! I went for a run this morning with superstar runner Elly, who keeps me on my toes – literally. We ran a fast 5, that wasn’t as fast as it felt, but still left me tingly and tired.
I turned around and showered and hiked down to the bakery for lunch with these two new friends, Kelly and Mary, both new Cville residents!
An end piece hummus + cheddar sandwich for me!
So many veggies it’s like a salad between bread.
We shared some tastes of sweets to end the meal. I never get tired of making new friends!
The proud parents of many loaves of bread this morning
Highlight of this Saturday – stuffing bread croutons! No need to leave bread on your counter for a few days – we did it for you.
Business is busy-ness today! Love it.

I like that you sell the stuffing croutons all ready! I would probably forget to let my bread sit out…

That sandwich looks great, I am definitely going to re-create a veggie hummus sandwich for myself today!
What a clever idea with those croutons! Speaking of which, I should start letting all my breads go stale now~:)
Yes, very clever! More bakeries should think of that! What does her shirt say – Save a Cow, Eat a Care..? GH has the best company tshirts.
Save a Cow, Eat a CARB!!
Should’ve guessed. LOVE it!
I love the end pieces of bread for sandwiches but some people HATE them. I don’t get it! Happy Saturday!

Yummy sandwich!t
Glad you had some time with friends this morning. New friends or old friends, just enjoying the weekend with friends is nice.
I could use some of that stuffing bread for a new apple, bacon, leek stuffing I am trying this year!
BTW, making up the bacon & sage stuffed mushrooms tonight. Yum!
Loving the idea of stuffing bread…and now croutons! Genius! What type of herbs are in the stuffing bread?
I’m not quite sure, actually, but it has celery and …onions! Needless to say it’s not my favorite bread, but if you love stuffing, you’d love it
so glad the bakery is booming! I can’t wait to make my mom’s stuffing this week! is there anything better??…it’s one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving!
New friends are wonderful! I love getting to know different people and learning to understand them and where they come from- it makes life interesting!
Good idea to sell the croutons!
Love the look of your sandwich – ahh hummus and veggies SO good
Lunch with new friends is a lot of fun
Can’t wait to try some of the stuffing bread in our stuffing at your house!
I love piling veggies on a sandwich; makes it so filling and crunchy. Holiday business is a blast — enjoy!
Love the idea of the bread prepared for stuffing!! I’d definitely get my hands on that if I were preparing the Thanksgiving meal. I’m sure the prep for holidays is getting crazy and fun!
I bet you guys are going to be hoppin’ at the bakery the next few days. Enjoy the busy-ness!
I believe you are going to have record sales this coming week

A big salad between bread is my favorite! You get the best of both worlds.
That sandwich looks SO good. I had a great wrap from Trader Joe’s today that totally hit the spot after a 5K race I ran this morning. Here’s some inspiration for a sandwich: hummus + carrots + cabbage slaw + tomato. The Bomb.com. It was great in a wrap, but as a sandwich? YUM.
I love stuffing my hummus sandwiches full of veggies. Especially when I give it a Greek twist and add olives and feta cheese. That’s one of my favourite sandwich combos!
Oooh the hummus and cheddar sandwich looks soo good! I’d probably slip in one piece of crispy bacon along with all the veggies though, just to be rebellious
Hope you enjoy the busy week ahead at the bakery and have a fabulous Thanksgiving!
That is a great idea to sell croutons! I’m sure it will help a lot of people with making their stuffing
