I heart lasagne lots and lots and am wondering what you dislike about it... I caught the dislike for ricotta - is that it or is there something more about it that you don't like? if mostly the ricotta, i'll have to make you lasagne some time sans ricotta - i have a very tasty version! This reminds me of a recipe I got from a friend of mine: Calavasitas con maiz...basically zucchini and corn.
