		<description>I googled Kale chips and have been reading and reading.  William you hit it on the nail   I just finished my first batch of homemade Kale chips  I use the dehydrator over night and the oven method.   I think the dehydrator either could go longer or not so much on the olive oil that I tossed the Kale in.  I am also trying cheeses   but the cheese has to be light   I used an oatmeal cheese alternative.  I tossed the Kale lightly    I am raring to go to try all these recipes that people have posted</description>

I&#039;ve been making kale chips for a while and have tried multiple methods, and I think I have some pointers I can give to take your recipe from &#039;great&#039; to &#039;outstanding&#039;!

First off, 350 degrees is a very high heat for kale chips. Somebody in your comments section mentioned a dehydrator, and they are definitely on the right track! I don&#039;t own one, but my oven goes down to 200 degrees, which seems to be the perfect temperature to make kale chips! They might take a little longer, but trust me, it&#039;s worth it. It&#039;s almost impossible to burn them at this temperature, and they have the most wonderful crunch when you bite into them!

Another suggestion I have is instead of drizzling oil right on them, it seems a better method to toss them in a bowl with your oil and topping ingredients.

My final suggestion is another that increases the overall crispiness of the chip. Don&#039;t use a baking sheet, use a wire rack! The idea is getting heat on all sides at once, and in addition it doesn&#039;t damage the wonderful vitamins inside the kale, which can easily break down at temperatures as high as 350.

Finally, I have some great suggestions for flavoring I&#039;ve used. Cayenne (or other pepper) infused olive oil is a great one, as is BBQ spice rub for those of us who love BBQ lays. Ranch dressing mix is a fun one, and of course just a sprinkling of salt and pepper always works too!

		<description>Hi Susie, you could try it my way.  I cook them at 275 for 45 minutes turning them a couple of times.  Keep the heat low and they can&#039;t burn!!  And yes, they still get crisp, but never get bitter from too much heat!</description>
