That Pumpkin is so hilarious. Last night I just had a feeling she would be outside and when we got to our front porch, she was sitting on the steps just waiting for us! [She lives next door]
And sometimes when you go on the porch you just hear “Maw. Maw. Maw” and then you see a dot of orange -
And then she charges in!!
She actually doesn’t like to be pet that much, but she loves to RUB on anything! Our legs, tables, the porch. Rub, meow, rub, meow. Last night she rubbed herself down the sidewalk about 3 feet!
The human meal of the morning was a strawberry + banana smoothie
The Mix:
- 5 strawberries
- 1 small banana
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 5 ice cubes
Toppings:
- Granola
- Chocolate coconut butter that was too dry to magic shell for me
Matt just got home from the market and we’re packing up to head to Hillsborough. My good friend Matt Compton is getting married today!

Our neighbours have two cats that like to wander over to our backyard…they never let you get close to them unless you are gardening! Then the one cat loves to come and rub up against your legs…funny cat!

That’s a daring neighbor cat. We have a few local cats that like to come chill in our garage but I don’t think any have made an attempt at the actual house. Probably for the best. Our dog would eat them alive lol.

Ha, aren’t neighborhood cats great? A couple of our local cats just LOVE to hang out in our backyard and stare at the birds. We don’t know any of their names, so we named them all after food–meatloaf and porkpie and fishsticks.

Awww! We used to have a neighborhood cat who would run up the stairs and into our apartment if we held the door open too long while unloading groceries, etc. He was such a sweetheart!
