Excitement

October 22, 2009

Many things to be excited about!!!

1) Running 5.5 miles on a nice day

2) Staging a fun photo shoot for a fun KERF update coming soon!

3) A good meeting with our realtor. We will likely put the house on the market in March! And we might have a mini bathroom renovation before we do!  I’m going to miss this house :(

4) A totally late lunch (my yogurt bowl held me over until 3PM!?) including a fabulous sandwich:

Brie + Plum Jam Panini

I used one of the little brie’s I got from Costo. LOVE the convenience of these!

IMG_6551 (640x427)

Veg + Costco peanut butter

Grapes

And some unphotographed Intentional Chocolate. I feel enlightened already!

Lastly but not least, I’m excited for

Winning a Bertolli Sauce Sponsorship to the Foodbuzz Festival!!!

My winning menu item:

Cilantro Pesto + Cowgirl Creamery Crostini

"San Francisco sourdough makes the ultimate base for spunky cilantro pesto and creamy goat cheese. With just a touch of Bertolli Fire Roasted Tomato Sauce with Cabernet Sauvignon, all that’s missing is a glass of wine!"

The Foodbuzz community will vote on their favorite dishes starting tomorrow through November 1, and the top 3 as chosen will get to demo their item live at the Foodbuzz Tasting Pavilion on November 7 in San Francisco.

Bring on the vino in California

Thanks so much to Bertolli Sauce for the honor!!

***

Gotta few more things to do, then I’m off to class.

And thennnnn…..my birthday weekend begins!!

Congratulations – what an exciting honor!

Moving is so tough – especially when you have made your house your home.

Bathroom renovations could be fun though…!

It’s amazing how well cheese & preserves go together. Pecorino and honey is an incredible combination!

While moving can be hard, it’s important to remember all the positive reasons that you’re doing it! It will make it much easier :)
