Time crunch, not food crunch
Lunch was nice and varied between flavors today.
Leftover beef chili –
A TJ’s WW pita, toasted and cut into pieces
Some pear slices and 2 figs –
And the last bit of TJ greek yogurt with H2H and GoLean (I probably didn’t need to eat this because I was full, but I did anyways
)
I also just had to pack my dinner and did more nibbling than I should have! Hard to stop eating sometimes. But I’ve got a GREAT wrap packed!
Until my late-night post-Micro post!

I really need to try some figs, I have only had them in newton form
Haha Christie, I’m a fig novice as well. I tried one small bite once and wasn’t impressed and haven’t bothered since. But now I’m seeing them everywhere, there must be something to them. Fig newtons are delicious though.
Oh my god, you are brave to have chili before a run/workout this afternoon. Granted, I do have a sensitive stomach, but the one time I did have chili before (and by “before,” I mean at least 3 hours before) a run, it was awful. Awful. I hope it sits better with you!
Figs are great – looks like a yummy lunch!
Wow. Actual figs. I don’t know if I’ve ever actually seen one before. At least ones that weren’t baked into Netwons.
(Yum…)
The chili looks so yummy! I really need to try some figs!
Those pears look great! I bought a whole bunch of pears last week – they were hard as a rock, but I figured they would rippen. Well they did, all 10 of them overnight! I ended up having to throw about half of them away – grrr.
Figs are still NOT AVAILABLE HERE
i’ve only seen figs at whole foods. maybe at my next trip there i’ll be adventurous and buy some!
i love figs…and they pair perfectly with pears
your lunch looks beautiful.
IMO: Figs are overrated!
I’m glad so many people like figs, too! Albeit not original, figs are very nice with a thin slice of prosciutto. I’m a bit new to your blog, what is the AB that you serve with oatmeal?
I have never eaten fresh figs….they look delish.
Your lunch looks yummy, as usual!
Katelyn ,
Almond butter!
