The column looks amazing! I would LOVE to do something like that one day!! Your food looks like a wonderful start to the day, and who doesn’t love baking some cookies. I made some the other night and they are just wonderful! Enjoy the weekend and your cooling party!
I love pear in oats..I need to do that more often!
very cool to see you in breathe!
The Office makes the best Saturday morning cartoons!
Great article! I was unsure how to cook all of those grains I keep hearing and reading about, but seems to be pretty much the same as the typical steamed or simmered rice. Wow, it is chilly in your area. Down here in Louisiana we are in the mid 80s.
Kath, congrats on the column! I have never heard of the magazine before, but I will visit my local Borders/Barnes and Nobles store to check it out!
I can’t believe It’s already in the 40s in Virginia! Lucky! Oh, which cookies are baking today?
what a fun twist on a housewarming party. I am sure it will be a huge success!
Congrats on the column! I’m sure some “primal” eaters are cringing right about now, lol.
Your oats look scrumptious! Wish I was always in the mood for traditional breakfast foods.
I can’t see myself ever eating and enjoying figs, but fig jam is the best!!!!
I love love love it with crackers and cheese.
You didn’t know Steve was leaving??
I think he’s the glue to the show (no matter how much I love Jim, Dwight, and Creed).
Great article on grains! I like to use all of those types of grains for making bread
I agree on the oatmeal and coffee combo – it’s just the best. I love waking up, having my favourite breakfast and reading food blogs. Best start of the day!
That bowl is so cool!
I was stoked to see we are going to be in the mid-80′s over the weekend. I am so jealous of all this cool weather talk!!! I am missing the seasons*
