Break Oats Together

November 10, 2009

Leather couches make great beds. Especially huge leather couches

I had a fun time snuggling with Chelsea‘s cat last night :) And check out my KERF-colored bedding!

Chels and I were up at 5:30 this morning to break oatmeal together before I had to leave for the airport. She has all my favorite mixins!!

We cooked a pot of extra thick oats with banana, rice milk, salt, dates, chia seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, Ezekiel granola, coconut butter, pumpkin butter and Costco peanut butter!!! WHEW!

It was awesome.

Plus chia chai tea

Thanks to Chelsea, Shaun, and Lucy for letting me spend the last day of my trip with them!

I made it to the airport swiftly and debated getting some coffee – simply for the caffeine headache prevention, as I’m quite full of oatmeal!! I decided on a short cappuccino, which is actually quite good. This breakfast should keep me going all the way to Atlanta!

I broke down and paid for hotspot wireless just for you guys <3 For the love of the blog…

Hooray for oatmeal with lots of toppings! I had a pb & banana sandwich today for breakfast and while it was good, not nearly as filling as oats!

Your matching bowls + mugs look are so cute. Yummy oats, per usual–it is pretty overwhelming to describe every ingredient. When I’m making my oats, I just keep adding things in… and somehow, it always tastes good. :D

Never tried that Ezekiel granola–would you recommend it?

BroccoliHut,

It wasn’t sweet at all. Kinda like Grape Nuts with raisins. But I liked the crunch.
