Things are going swimmingly here today. We’re already sold out of Cville Crunch!
It kind of has the consistency of cake!!
I worked until 1:30 and then sat down to lunch munch.
Big salad from home – greens, maters, cucs, goat feta, olive oil, balsamic, smoked salt from our Whole Foods salt bar
And a slice of the best
I also had a bite of Matt’s GIANT foot-long cheddar garlic tomato grilled cheese. That bread is so good too!
Tonight will be a romantic evening at home with homemade tomato sauce and Harry Potter #6! We’re watching the two previous before we see the final one.
OH – and I drove my car to work today!! Imagine that. It was so luxurious – air conditioning, radio, no hills. Now I know why people drive cars!

y’all’s lunches both look delicious! i can’t wait until my tomatoes come in so i can make my own version of that sandwich.
) i thought the last movie was done so well.
enjoy harry potter!!!(from a huge hp nerd
Once again, I’m enamored by that bread. Unfortunately, no GH here. Food porn will have to suffice!
Hope you have a fun evening. My dad’s birthday is July 15th, and for one year all he could talk about was seeing the new HP for his birthday
He has read the entire series 13 times. Literally. He’s a fast reader, but still! He loves HP. I think it’s adorable. We gladly obliged and took him to see it on the first day. I think you’ll enjoy it (after watching the preceding ones, as you said)
Ahh I want some Cville Crunch…I might have to make the 2 and a half hour drive from DC!
Have a great evening and enjoy your Sunday!
I just watched harry potter 6 last night with my sis and watching the 7 (part 1) tonight. I still have to see part two as well
That is another picture perfect salad! Sounds like you have a great night planned! Enjoy!
Oh yay for a fun romantic night in
We did the same exact things with the Harry Potters – it was definitely helpful! Enjoy yourselves you crazy kids you
The new one is wonderful. I wish I had at least rewatched part one before going…wise choice!
I’ve only seen the first 3 HP loosely and read those books. I should do a “marathon” catch-up I guess. Have you read the books?
Okay – what will it take for me to get you to send me some of the cake-like bread??!! Do tell!!
HA! ….The luxury of driving!
geez, cake bread?!? please tell me my GH in pasadena makes this.
have fun at Harry Potter! you will love it.
ooo, nice bread! I’m looking forward to German bread (just about two weeks, yipee!)
I think you’ll love the last Harry Potter movie! Call me melodramatic, but I cried four times during the last movie…I guess that’s what happens when you literally grow up reading the book series! Please tell us what you think of it!
That Cville Crunch bread looks awesome!!! I wish I could eat some right now. It looks like it would literally melt in one’s mouth from the soft consistency of it. Kath Eats “Real” Bread

I love the last line…the “luxuries” of driving. You bike so much that you surely deserve some a/c, radio. and not feeling the hills more than anyone I know!
Have a great time at HP #6!
The only thing I can think about from this post is that cheddar garlic tomato grilled cheese! I think it would make me melt (and I really didn’t mean the pun… Haha). I need more grilled cheese in my life. Like, all the time grilled cheese. <3
Yes, enjoy those luxuries of driving, because they are just that :luxury!! AC full blast baby. It is HOT out there!
Just had a huge salad full of spinach, lovin’ the large lunch salad thing!
Ohhh how I’m now craving bread! I wish I was near your bakery.
Very few things appeal to me as much as homemade food and Harry Potter. Enjoy it ; )
That bread looks amazing. I always want to come have lunch with you! ha! My freeze dried store bought bread doesn’t compare.
I am dying to try some of your bread!
Cheddar garlic tomato grilled cheese? ohmygoshyummm. PLEASE SHARE THE RECIPE!
Looks like a wonderful lunch- have a great, relaxing afternoon!
YOu always make me crave bread and you are too far away from me to get any good bread. I guess I’ll have to make some now!
Enjoy your evening with Matt! Sounds like you have a great one planned!
I’m so proud of you for still incorporating green into your meals even though you work in a bakery. I’m not so sure that I would be strong enough to do the same :X
the Cville crunch bread looks delicious! I will have to try it sometime, if I can make my way to the bakery before it sells out!
Yay for Harry Potter. Just saw the last one last weekend – so good!
haha, I guess driving a car would seem really l uxorious after not doing so for a long time!
I have no problem biking everywhere because my car has no CD player or air conditioning
It gets so hot when I drive that sometimes it’s cooler to bike!
I sit in so much traffic each day. I think that biking to work would be a luxury!
Major coveting of that Cville Crunch bread. I’ve officially decided to marry a baker when I grow up. Bread is sooo romantic
The cville crunch sounds to die for, not surprising that you sold out!!
I know that I may sound insane, but what is this Cville crunch that everyone speaks of?! please help, I’m so confused.
Our newest bread! Flax, walnut, oat bran, oats, flour
Haven’t seen Harry Potter yet either!
And that bread looks so great…chewy, dense…hmmm yum.
That grilled cheese sandwich looks sooooo good. Im obsessed with cheese! It’s funny how normal driving is until you aren’t able to do it for a while, then it’s amazing! When I lived in Hawaii I rode the city bus like every one else (no one drives there) so when I came back to California on vacations and when I moved back it was amazing to be able to sit in air conditioning listening to music
That bread does look like cake! I think it could pass as dessert from the looks of it.
I’m so amazed at how little you use your car. I wish I lived in an area that made that possible.
Ashley and I have to make the trip to Cville to taste that bread of yours!
Shirtless Ben!! Please do come
Bring Meghann with you!
I saw Harry Potter last week and cried like four times. It is teh best movie I have ever seen. I hear you about biking up hills. Today I went for a bike ride with my brother and his crank broke as we were going up a big hill! Good thing we were heading home
As much as I love peanut butter, I can only imagine what plain ol’ buttah will taste on that piece of bread…:)
That cheddar garlic tomato grilled cheese looks too delicious to be real, my stomach’s grumbling from envy.lols Aww, hope you enjoyed the last two installments, I will forever mourn and celebrate the HP series.
