Book Sharks

December 26, 2010

No bookworms at this inn – just book sharks circling the fire.

I made it to part 4! Less than 100 pages to go.

That’s just about all that’s gone on since we last spoke!

Reading…and a razor sharp shark trim to Matt’s face

BeardBlog

Except for the fact that he looked a bit sketchy, I kind of liked the beard! Matt Allen commented that Matt was so clean-shaven when we visited them in Boston a few weeks ago. So my Matt decided to grow a beard. I think this was 16 days in the making. But it’s gone now!

For lunch we pulled out the massive amount of leftovers and made sandwiches on Great Harvest bread.

Snow!

It’s kept us indoors, but I think a walk is in the works if we can manage to stay dry enough.

Wow what a difference the clean shaven look makes! I prefer (most) men clean shaven – mine anyways! :)

I prefer clean shaven face on my own man for the sake of soft kisses, but Matt was rockin the beard pretty professionally!

I have a MAJOR thing for guys with scruffy faces…thank goodness my beau doesn’t own a razor!

I like the beard too! Tell him to grow it back!
My boyfriend has a beard and I love it. It makes him look more rugged :)

I like the beard on Matt. It looks nice! Although, I don’t like Isaac with a beard – it’s too scruffy when kissing. ;)

Bald Head Island! Omg it’s just as beautiful as I remember! But I never remember there being snow there…but I ran some 5 & 10k November races there, and dang, it WAS chilly~!

Glad the book-a-thon is happening :)

Matt does look good with a beard too but i know he prob hates the way the beard feels! My fiance can only handle the beard look for so long, then he shaves , only when he has days off, like right now do I ever see him with a beard!

Have a relaxing Sunday ; )

My husband is refusing to shave the beard right now too. He claims he loves it, but I swear it’s just because I keep asking him to shave it. Perhaps if I tell him I really like it, he’ll shave it off!

Hey Kath,
You’re always reading such great books. Any chance of creating a book section in the near future? I’ve actually searched back through a few posts to find the titles of books to check out at the library. Thanks for the great ideas and have a relaxing vacation! :)

I would like that, too! I’ve read a couple of your suggested books and even picked up a copy of _The Raw Shark Text_ the other day @ Half-Price Book Store. :)

Oh, I think he should keep the beard! I love beards on men, it almost always makes them look more adult and in control. :P

I think he should regrow the beard! It actually looks really good on him! Though I might be slightly biased–my boyfriend has a short beard and I love him that way :)

haha, my husband grew out his beard from the time I found out I was pregnant to when our son was born in September…….it was HUGE. He’s already very good at growing a beard fast but holy moly it got out of control. Then, when shaved it, he kept a perv stache for a few days. haha

We adore BHI! My aunt owns a house on Coquina Trail, and we go there a lot. However, I’ve never seen it snowing, and I’ve always wanted to! :) I hope you all are enjoying your time there.

Hey Kath!
I am soooo behind on your blog, but I am catching up on posts slowly. 2 things…your family and especially Karen are in my thoughts and prayers (just read about her today) AND I totally second that idea about you posting a list of your favorite books! I am always looking for new titles and you and I seem to have similiar tastes in books. I wish you and your family a very happy and healthy new year…XOXO :)
