Today’s the day that the Five Bamboo shirts go on sale at OpenSky! When Five Bamboo came to me with interest in collaborating on a t-shirt, "I Eat Real Food" was, of course, the perfect phrase to capture our healthy blog-reading world. I’m sure many of you "Eat Real Food on a daily basis – so share the message with your body! These were custom made of soft sustainable bamboo and come in two colors – coral and grey. Check out the back!!
Note the shirt is not maternity – it’s just super soft and I’m wearing a large : )

Check out this FALL weather!! The house was colder this morning than the AC I left on last night – so now all the windows are open! [High on Friday: 101!]
You know when I walked into the kitchen PUMPKIN literally crossed my mind (and I don’t mean the cat!)
It was definitely an oatmeal kind of morning!
I made Scottish oats (steel cut blended in the Vita-mix to increase the surface area) with banana, chia and blueberries with a sprinkle of granola and Miss. Smart’s Cookie Dough Butter
Plus coooooool [decaf] coffee!
I’d love to go out for a walk before my two calls this morning – hoping to squeeze it in!

I love the coral color of that shirt! So pretty!
The weather is absolutely beautiful this morning. I hope it stays this way!
I love that top!
Cute shirt!
I love Sarah’s nut butter. I have a special delivery in the mail right now and I cannot WAIT!
I love the t-shirt and how it looks on you! The color is super flattering
i love your new shirts! that coral color is really pretty too – it’s one of my favorite colors lately.
The shirts are adorable Kath!! I absolutely love them. I think I’d go for the coral one. It’s a great colour on you (and on Baby KERF!)
I hope you get your walk in too, the weather sounds nice! It’s been cooler here in Chicago the past couple of days too
Love the shirts. Love the oatmeal. I love today!
Such a cute shirt!
Congrats on the shirts!
ahhh.. this is so fabulous. I just love it over that baby belly! too precious.
Adorable shirts – they look so comfy! It’s like the baby is saying “I eat real food”!
Ahhh! I love the shirt and I love that it looks like the baby is saying it even if that wasn’t the intent!
Time for me to dive into my oatmeal!
Fun tops! Love the coral! Back to wacky weather systems…humid to breezy cool! Lots of sun so I am not complaining!
I was so excited to see this on opensky last night! Any plans for more colors in the future?
If these sell well, possibly!
I love the shirts! The design is so original
I LOVE the shirt!! You can’t beat a super soft shirt like that.
And it definitely is an oatmeal kind of morning here. I was shocked when I stepped outside this morning – it feels like an early fall day!
Love the shirt, it really looks very soft and comfortable!
It looks like your raised beds are doing great! And it also looks like your yard is so greeeen! Send some of that green-ness this way please! We are in drought-like conditions here in Northern IL!
Ooh cute! Those are so fun.
Cute! Any update on cville cluster on open sky?
No, but we hope to ship some out by midsummer
Our current weather and hot, hot, hot forecast for the next week is similar…I wonder how long I can hold off on the A/C!
Adore the t’s! The bright coral is definitely your color, but unfort. not mine. I wish there was another option, but maybe I’ll just go for the neutral gray. Question: The fabric they use seems quite clingy, so under normal circumstances would you wear a small or x-small? (I ask b/c I’m prob. one size larger than your non-pregnant size, but I don’t like a super tight fitting t so I always opt for one size up and shrink if nec, but I don’t think you can put this in the dryer. Not sure if I should get a S or M.)
My normal size is a medium – I don’t like it too tight either
And the grey is actually really cool!
Oh great…I think I’ll go w/a M too (I’m equally smallish framed, but I’m a bit less bust-endowed, but more waist-endowed
) Excited!!
love the font on the shirt! (dweeb alert. but I’m an English major. I’m into type.)
I just enjoyed a warm bowl of creamy oats with a peach on top. loved the weather this morning. it’s ok when it gets super hot though, because my parents’ pool will be calling to me.
I love those shirts!! The coral color is my favorite!
Absolutely love the shirts!!
That shirt looks so cute on the baby (bump) and coral is definitely your color
I love that shirt!
Cute shirts!!
LOVE the shirts!!! They look soft even in the pictures!
I love bamboo shirts, they’re SO comfy! Love the design too- very cute! Have a good day!
Super cute shirts! I love the design with the wording off to the side.
Your garden is awesome! Those tomato plants look great! Are they Roma?
It’s cool here today, too. I was actually cold here this morning, too. With these temps, you wouldn’t believe it was the end of June.
Hope you squeeze your walk in.
Love the shirts! The coral color is gorgeous!
It’s cool and gorgeous here too. Definitely a hot bowl of oats morning.
Hope you get to take advantage of the cooler temps today before it warms back up on us! Love the coral top!
I’m thinking I need to bring you some of the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie on Thursday…
I love the shirt! It looks so soft & comfy! Great way to promote healthy eating!
We were going to go swimming this afternoon, but it is too cold & windy — bummer

I love that shirt!
I am NOT looking to the 100+ degree temps in Cville this weekend. Today is absolutely beautiful though. I stopped by Great Harvest for a little treat and walked out with a salted caramel cookie – INCREDIBLE!!
I have a Five Bamboo shirt and skirt and they’re soooo soft. Love them!
You are making me excited for fall!
Mmmm yum that looks great. Once you blend the steel cut oats in the blender, do you proceed to use them as normal oats in OO?
I haven’t done overnight oats with Scottish…I think the texture is a little tooo finely ground, but for regular stove-top, cook as usual
Sarah’s cookie dough nutty butter is SO good. I can’t wait to restock when I see her this weekend!
I had scottish oats for the first time this morning! I loved the creamy consistency.
I ground mine up in a coffee grinder (I only use this particular coffee grinder only for spices)
I don’t have a vita-mix, Do you think I can grind the steel cut oats in a regular blender or food processor?
Thanks Kath! By the way your pictures always brighten my day
your photography is beautiful.
Food processor – yes. Actually, that might have been what I used!
Love the shirt!! I think every dietitian should own one
Just ordered the shirt! The first time I saw it I knew I’d want it. I love the message! It’s a clear message/view point without being in your face about it.
However, it did make me realize why I don’t like to shop online–it is way to easy to add stuff to your ‘cart’ and enter your credit card information! I could easily spend up a storm without feeling the guilt of spending too much money at the store!
I think for this it was worth it, even though Tennessee (obviously where I live) now charges sales tax on Internet purchases! Boo!
The shirt is adorable!!
Coral is def. one of your best colors!!! And it would be super cute to have a maternity shirt with a conversation bubble around the belly button area that says ‘I eat real food too’.
I didn’t realize how big your backyard is—it looks so nice! Baby KERF is going to have a blast running around back there.
The shirt is adorable!
