Bald Breakfast

We’re running a little slow this morning – too much beer! I didn’t sleep my best either, but we’re still hoping to get the most out of this beautiful day. We’ve got plans for a walk, kayaking on the marsh, beach sports, and more walking. Tonight Matt and I are cooking dinner in for the group. And we’ve got birthday cake!!

For breakfast I made a packet of cinnamon raisin instant oatmeal cooked in the microwave with half a banana so it would get all marshmallowy

And only the side had fruit and a hard boiled egg for protein.

And the usual –

Snuck a bite of Matt A’s muffin!

We just packed up some sandwiches to have at the beach late this afternoon after our mid-day kayaking. In the meantime, I’ve packed this Glo Bar for energy :)

It’s SO humid here! I can’t get over it. I feel like I’ve stepped out of January and onto an island in the Caribbean.

Happy Saturday All!

Sorry to say this, but that oatmeal is not nearly as pretty as your usual oatmeal back home. Just can’t beat stovetop! ;)

Sounds like a fun day you have planned with your family!! :) Enjoy it to the fullest!!!

Sounds like such a fun day! I love doing active things that are exercise but don’t feel like exercise. Good luck with dinner, I’m sure it’ll be great! Can’t wait to read about it.

I love kayaking. My boyfriend went with me for his first time this past summer and managed to tip himself over! Luckily the trail mix he packed was in the little waterproof compartment and was saved ;)

Hi Kath,

I have been so stressed and busy with life and work – and haven’t had a chance to keep up with your posts for the last few days (I usually read it every day).

But, I just caught up and I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all your gmail tutorial videos! I just recently made the switch from aol to gmail…and although I’m still getting used to it – I really do like it.

I learn so much from your blog – about nutrition, health, exercise, recipes…and now gmail. Just wanted to say THANKS!

:)

Wow! That first picture is absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of my hometown in New Jersey – a tiny little island off the coast of Atlantic City.
