Got some photos to share with y’all tonight!! I met up with Monica [who is also here via American Express] and we headed to the evening reception by the marina just as the sun was setting
I found a local beer and was excited to fine amber + caramel malt at a mobile bar. My kinda beer!
There were lots of healthy vegetable friendly options too! They were quite good and gourmet and beautifully presented!! I filled up in 2 of each kind
After we mingled, we headed to to a special suite that Stonyfield was hosting – with a surprise – their new Greek FROZEN yogurt! All the deliciousness and protein of Oikos in a frozen form!
Vanilla, Honey, Chocolate and Blueberry – coming soon!
I tried them all – I liked the honey the best : )
And those are big Whole Foods marshmallows – caramel flavor – that I am now obsessed with. I’m dying to roast marshmallows this summer!
I stole this little munchkin from Amelia of Eating Made Easy (and KERF reader!). Gotta teach the young ones about good food early!
Our night ended at SPARKLECORN
!
One of the famous old school Blogher parties that is now officially part of the agenda.
I got a bourbon on the rocks sparkling water with my drink ticket. I was thirsty!
After playing with the glow sticks for a while, Monica and I decided to walk home. I have another early start tomorrow – including yoga and breakfast with a celebrity!

How fabulous to have enticing healthy canapes on hand! But even more exciting to have delicious sweets
The Veggies look great!
Wow….”Sparclecorn” must be the most girliest name of a party ever… but I guess it’s a women blogger conference after all.
Frozen greek yogurt!!!! HOly YUM!!!!
Glo sticks are so fun!
Oh my gosh frozen greek yogurt sounds amazing! Im also jealous of the coconut milk shampoo you got a swag…it smells so good and makes your hair so silky soft. Enjoy the rest of blogher!
Glow sticks!!!!
Looks like you guys are having a blast
SO excited for the frozen yogurt. That is awesome. I hope they decide to take the lower sugar route with this line.
The food at these things always amazes me! Better than anything I would get at my usual work conferences. Glad you had a great first day.
The food looks delish! I so wish I was there!
Whoa…seeing you with the baby…you are a natural mother, Kath. Tick, tock, goes the clock
Maybe not, but whenever the time is right, you’ve got story-reading down pat already!
The sunset reception along the Marina..nice. Looks beautiful and what a nice spread they put out.
Veggie options AND those marshmallows…perfect.
Yoga and breakfast with a celeb? how awesome. Can’t wait to hear the deets!
Al of those little veggie dishes look fantastic! Yumm!
SO jealous of your breakfast with Bob! I mean seriously – does anything get better than Bob + Quaker??
Also – I LOVE those photos of you with Amelia (she is absolutely adorable). Those pictures are definitely keepers (and it makes me think you’ll be such a good/natural mom! <– no hints, no pressure, just a regular old statement!
)
Enjoy yoga this morning and take pictures of Bob!
Darling baby!
Stonyfield frozen yogurt! YUmm! I can’t wait to try this stuff out!

I can’t wait to try that greek frozen yogurt! its sounds delicious!!
GREEK frozen yogurt? I am all over that!!!
Frozen Greek yogurt?! Darn, now I’m even more bummed out that we don’t have Oikos in Canada.
You have so much self-control….glow sticks are a deal breaker. When I see them I immediately need to drink and feel like I am at a 1999 Rave!
If those veggie finger foods tasted as good as you made them look, I would have been in heaven!
Adorable pictures with the kid
And I’m proud of Stonyfield for that innovation- I bet it’s going to be the next food fad!
Anndddd I think you have us all on tenterhooks about who this celeb you will be breaking your fast with is…
can’t wait for that frozen yogurt….thanks for the big news!! Looks beautiful out in CA!
I love greek yogurt! But frozen greek yogurt? I can’t even imagine what that tastes like. It looks yummy, though!

but ahhh!! greek frozen yogurt needs to become a mainstream thing
Enjoy your celebrity breakast! So jealous
That baby is such a cutie!
I had so much fun! But, I still don’t get why it’s called Sparklecorn…
BOB HARPAHHHH! That munchkin is so darn cute. I wantttt it. I am too young to want kids but a girl can dream, right?
I was so excited for photography class photos when I saw the “oh snap!” The receptions look gorgeous, though. Awesome weather, a nice drink. Even at a convention, it looks like blissful summer. And those appetizers make me swoon.
Frozen Oikos?! Sign me up!
So excited for their frozen yogurt! Looks like you had a fun night!
So much fun! My husband and I are always on the look out for local beers… must be the beer brewers inside of us. And what a cute little girl too!
Looks like a great time! Yummy appetizers!
wow fun fun evening! The pictures of the appetizers/ dinner are great, it looks like they had some awesome choices. You look like such a natural with the baby!!
What a cute baby…you look like a natural too
Wow Stoneyfield Greek frozen yogurt…two of my favorite things together, a match made in heaven! Can’t wait to try it!
And you look absolutely gorgeous in the top photo….love your makeup and outfit!
Caramel marshmallows? That sounds so great. I’m planning to make marshmallows this summer, and you just gave me an idea! Thanks!
What a fabulous day, great pictures. The after party sounds like a blast, looks like you’re having a great time!
You look like such a natural with that baby…so sweet! I don’t like yogurt (totally wish I did) or anything too creamy, did the frozen stuff have the tartness that regular yogurt has? I’m interested since I can eat frozen yogurt, but the frozen greek yogurt might be too tart/creamy for me.
Greek FRO YOgurt?!!!!!
WOOT. SO stoked to hear that!!!!!
Love the pics. And I want some caramel marshmallows….whew, what a night you had!
I want a trolley car ale!!
Greek frozen yogurt? I’m in!! Sounds amazing!
Lucy doesn’t look that comfy in just anybody’s lap. You’re going to make a great mom, Kath!
Some days I wish food could just magically appear like they seem to do at conferences and the like
Curious, how does a blogger get sponsored by American Express to appear at BlogHer? I think it’s great, by the way. I just discovered the blog community since I’ve been home during the week with Levi and I’m intrigued by it all.
By the way, when you return to C’ville we should try to have a little cookout at our place…roast some mallows
I haven’t had any all summer!
They emailed me to see if I was interested. They’re hard to seek out..
We’d LOVE to do a marshmallow cookout!
I had such a great time with you and Monica at BlogHer and so happy we had a chance to play n’ chit chat. You are fabulous and I’m looking forward to seeing you again soon!
xo
So glad to hear that you had fun at Sparklecorn! I’m a MamaPop writer and it really sucked to not be able to go to our party this year.
WOWOWOWOW! So fun! Makes me even more excited for HLS!
Sparklecorn!!!
I’ve never been to BlogHer, but I’ve been reading Amy’s blog (Amalah.com) for years, and she is one of the main organizers of Sparklecorn. Jealous! Did you see all the Justin Bieber posters? ha,ha.
I’d love to see how Stoneyfield does the Greek froyo. I’m not impressed with the ingredient list on their regular frozen yogurt, unfortunately.
