All I Want For Christmas

Is pumpkin oats!!!

I got up early this morning and left Matt sleeping to get in one last gym workout before our vacation. The gym was packed and full of energy and I actually had a great workout. Biked there and back per usual and did some time on the ET plus a nice concise set of weight lifting and abs.

I had some PB bananer before I left

I got home, showered, packed, dressed, curled my hair. Diana gave me these beautiful red earrings for Christmas! She has her own line of hand-made jewelry called D Celestine, and they are so pretty! Thank you so much talented Diana!

Then I came down to some COTF oats (=clean out the fridge is becoming too common not to have an acronym!) at 10:00.

We had just enough pumpkin, wheatberries and cottage cheese to make a final bowl.

Topped with ProBar, TJ’s pumpkin butter and Maranatha!

Watch out for BLACK ICE!!!

IMG_1779 (640x427)

Matt accidentally used up the milk in the oats so we had to drink black coffee. It actually wasn’t that bad.

One last reindeer mug..

I want a hippopotamus Snake for Christ-mas.

What a fun Christmas present – a visit from SNAKEY!!!! Snake (a.k.a. Mike) was one of our best Davidson friends! He was on his way through from Charleston visiting his girlfriend Jenny to Pittsburg to visit his family and it worked out just perfectly for him to stop in and say hello! Haven’t see him in 2 years. He’s such a man now!

Hi Kath!

I haven’t had the opportunity to read your blog since the healthy living summit took place in August. I started graduate school and life has been quite hectic which means no time for my blogs :(
I hope to catch up with your posts over break. I just wanted to stop by to wish you and your family a very happy holiday season!

I feel like if you’re gonna be Kath on your blog, then I have to be Mike. Only fair, right?

So if you want to stick with Snake, you have to start referring to yourself appropriately (either with the K or the N).

I kid, I kid. Soooooo great to see you!

Sometimes I feel the most energetic when there are people working out all over the gym, it’s fun to be in the company of fellow gym rats!

Sad, last reindeer mug :(

Wow I’m just catching up on the blog from Christmas, and as I’m finishing up who do I see but Mike J! So funny–he’s been a good family friend of mine since I was little. Small world!

Great set of holiday posts Kath!
