Still amazed at the time of day. Ever since my time travel on Sunday I have been running on Pacific Standard Time!
I finished up a good project at 1PM and a bit reluctantly left for the gym. But once I stepped outdoors – BEAUTIFUL!! I love biking to the gym so much now.
My workout was a boring 30 minutes on the ET, but Better Homes & Gardens kept me entertained. Love fall themed magazines!
I was home and showered at 2:30 and had lunch.
Veggies dipped in leftover Tahini Dressing found in this post. It was SO good. Going to make it again for sure!
A slice of Great Harvest Dakota with a Laughing Cow and Fortnum and Mason raspberry jam –
And the last of some Oikos (~1/3 a cup) with cantaloupe and flax
Had a bite of chocolate after lunch!
Travel Back In Time
Want to see what I had for lunch on this day last year!? It’s really hard to believe I have 2 years of meals documented. I don’t even remember eating them! It would make for a neat flip through book, although I’m not sure who would buy someone else’s meals!

Looks like you left this post a few meer minutes before I came on! Just want to say your blog is one of my favorites (as it is for many out there) and you’re one of my “healthy lifestyle” inspirations.
I’m missing cantaloupe already, come back Summer!
i love laughing cow cheese & think spreading it on toast with some jam sounds like the perfect combo of savory and sweet. must try!
Pretty lunch! I’ve got to get my hands on some tahini.
I am hooked on Goddess dressing already.
What a fun plate! Does that match the bowl you were eating from the other day? So cute.
I am jealous of your warm weather! The temperature has dropped like whoa here. I do love winter but warmer summery days are always nice.
I like this year’s lunch better than last years! The tahini sold me…
I’ve been craving celery the past 2 days… I need to get some. Laughing Cow + jam sounds sooo good; nothing beats sweet AND salty.

I really hope we get a Great Harvest here at some point, because the bread always looks so good!
good luck with the studying!
Cantaloupe is totally on sale at my Jewel grocery store, buy one get one! I have already polished off 2 this week and need to head back for more before its too late!
Love your lunch, I bet time changes are hard to get used to, especially when it’s just for a weekend.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
colorful lunch! I hate getting used to time changes! It’s crazy how long it takes our bodies to readjust!
It was a beautiful day here as well. I just lurve fall
I actually saw a book of some guys meals for a year in the book store!
Yum yum yum, that looks just like my kind of lunch!
I love biking now too…fell in love with it while training for my triathlon…now I’m hooked!! Didn’t expect to love it so much.
Enjoy the fall weather!

Glad the weather turned around for you today! It’s still freezing and windy here in Wisconsin. Hope we get your weather soon.
I’m sooo digging that Oikos mixture right now. Cantaloupe sounds fabulous!
i’ve never had cantaloupe with yogurt before!
Looks delicious! As usual, love your blog:)

Blogging is just a fun form of journaling. You’re lucky you started so long ago!
I think you should show us last year’s meal and the meal 2 years ago every day! Maybe you can write a quick code that would make it easy to find?
I thought that you were having cream cheese with jelly and I majorly wanted it and then once I realized it was Laughing Cow and jelly I majorly wanted that to – I think it’s time for a snack!
*too, oh jeez
i love the cheese and jam idea! yummy!

How cool is it that you can look back two years at a meal?! I bet it comes in handy when you’ve run out of meal ideas.
Your post looked great on the Mushroom site!
Very mushroomy and delicious
It’s great that you can go back and look at old food combos you want to try again. But it must be crazy pressure to keep coming up with new ideas.
I love magazines for the elliptical and TM. I save my fitness magazines just for the gym and its a great way to keep me motivated.
I am STILL on Hawaii time. Sorry I couldn’t see you this weekend
I had almost my entire family in town.
love your platter of different stuff for lunch!
jenna
We all probably remember your meals more than you do… ever thought about that??!
Love that black and white plate!!
when your pictures and food are that beautyfulll-
pretty sure a flip book would sell like MAD.
you’re amazing kath!
Bronwyn + Bekah ,
Thanks!!
rhodeygirl,
I’ll try to do it more often.
If it was that easy, I would. I did think of that too
Chelsea,
Sorry I missed you!
Emily,
Haha – that’s crazy! I bet it’s true though.
Kath
cantaloupe and oikos, what a combo! i would never have thought!
I have a whole wheel of LC wedges that I’ve been meaning to find a use for–your lunch sounds like a perfect way to enjoy it:)
I think a flipbook is a great idea, actually!
Kath, I love hearing that you are a fan of Better Homes and Gardens! I work in the Food and Entertaining department over there and happen to also LOVE your blog. It’s always fun to check in throughout the day and see what you are eating! Always gives me something interesting to add to the “need to try” list.
Kath,
i think that a cookbook made from your blog would be a great idea! a years worth of breakfasts, lunches and dinners with your photos and recipes.
